Scholarship Fund

The purpose of Aikido is to build a heaven on earth by bringing people together in friendship and harmony. I teach this Art to help my students learn how to serve their human beings. O’Sensei

In challenging times, we value our Aiki community. It is essential to come together to train and share the joy of the Art of Peace. Aikido’s principles can improve how we interact with others. O’Sensei’s words show how Aikido can transform us and those around us.

Aikido training, accommodations, meals, and socializing happen within the community at Granlibakken Retreat. Everything you need is readily available. The experience is unique and inclusive, with a lot of love, thought, and planning put into it.

We offer scholarships for the 2025 Retreat to help you attend. We will support you to make sure you can join. You are welcome for any duration of the retreat. If you know of other Aikidoists who are interested in attending the retreat and could use assistance, please let them know about our scholarship fund.

We encourage you to contribute to the scholarship fund, any amount is welcome. This is a chance for our more financially secure members to give back to those less fortunate in our community. Send your donation to Ability Production for a tax-deductible contribution. The nonprofit, Ability Production, was founded by Jeramy and Molly Hale. Its goal is to provide support and education for all things Aikido. Funding for individual scholarships comes from the non-profit.
